Because of Corona, we have held all open training courses online since 2020. That is now over! We are looking forward to being able to offer all open training courses on-site in Mannheim again starting in April. We are convinced that this is the best way of learning and training.

Better Learning

We consider on-site training with all participants in the same room to be more effective. There are several reasons for this:

1. In an on-site training course, participants can interact more directly with the trainer and other participants and build a personal relationship. This is much more difficult online, or it takes longer. Participants can more easily ask questions, hold discussions, and receive feedback from the other participants. This kind of interaction makes participants more engaged and better focused on the topic. Experience shows that this only works in a very limited way online, especially with participants who did not know each other beforehand.

2. On-site training courses boost the motivation of the participants, since everyone in the group is working on the same topic. It is easier to concentrate on the topics.

3. Distraction from day-to-day business is considerably lower. Participants are more focused on the training content.

4. For hands-on exercises, it is much more effective if the trainer can walk around the table and get a picture of each participant's learning progress. This is difficult to implement in an online training.

5. Swedish scientists have found that on-site training courses are more fun for participants and trainers alike. To increase that even more, we organize a joint dinner at our trusted restaurant during our training courses in Mannheim.

We place great importance on a pleasant atmosphere during our training courses. Participants should feel comfortable and be able to ask questions freely. Because only then can effective learning take place. In our beautiful rooms at the Mafinex Technology Center, we have the best conditions for your learning success.

The Learning Portal Lives On!

During the Corona period, we learned that high-quality training courses can also be conducted online. Our learning portal played an important role in this. In the beginning it was an off-the-shelf Moodle portal; by now it is a custom in-house development tailored to our requirements. The most important advantages of our learning portal:

• A central entry point to all information
• All presented slides to view and download for the participants
• Notes from the trainer (listings, links, remarks) can be published during the event
• After the event, the certificate of participation can be downloaded
• Only for pure online delivery: afterwards, the recordings can be watched here

We continue to use this learning portal for almost all of our training courses, whether on-site at the customer, at our premises in Mannheim, or online.

Are There Still Live Online Training Courses?

For our corporate customers, we of course continue to offer our proven live online training courses on request. If, for example, not all colleagues can be at the same location, this remains a good option. However, most customers now once again prefer training at their location.
