Our Consultants
Jörg Brandeis — Founder, Book author & SAP-Expert
Jörg Brandeis has been working in the SAP industry since 1996. He studied business informatics at the University of Mannheim and, from 2006 to 2015, served as ABAP Development Manager at zetVisions GmbH (Heidelberg), where he was responsible for product development. Since 2015, he has been working as an independent SAP consultant and developer; in 2019, he founded Brandeis Consulting GmbH.
In 2018, his technical book "SQLScript for SAP HANA" was published by SAP Press / Rheinwerk-Verlag it is now in its second, expanded edition and available in English. The book is considered the standard reference for SQLScript development in the SAP environment. Jörg is also a co-founder of HANA Tech Night Mannheim, a regular community event for SAP developers.

Jörg Müller — Modern ABAP & Clean Core
Jörg Müller is a trainer and consultant specializing in modern ABAP and the transition from traditional ABAP development to Clean Core and S/4HANA. He guides developers and teams through the transition from legacy ABAP to modern development paradigms—in a practical, easy-to-understand way that focuses on real-world project scenarios.
Besides his training activities, Jörg is an active author on the Brandeis Blog – writing about topics such as data-driven manufacturing from an ABAP perspective, AI in the SAP environment, and modern development methods. He has led workshops at the Developer Day, the largest community conference for SAP developers in Germany.

Sören Schlegel — ABAP Development Architect
Sören Schlegel is a consultant specializing in ABAP development architecture. He has been working as an ABAP Development Consultant since 2011 and has developed into a sought-after architect for modern SAP development topics. His claim: to always be at the forefront of technology and to immediately apply this knowledge in projects, training, and community contributions.
Sören is known for clearly conveying complex topics in a practical and understandable manner without unnecessary abstraction. He is regularly active as a speaker at community events, has contributed to the DSAG Annual Conference and regularly publishes technical articles on the Brandeis Blog.

Marcel Hermanns — Architect & Interims-Project Manager, ehem. SAP SE
Marcel Hermanns brings over 16 years of ABAP and SAP experience – including several years in a leading role as Development and Project Manager at SAP SE. There, he was actively involved in the development of RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and the ABAP Cloud Development Model and accompanied these technologies to market readiness in S/4HANA and the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
This insider perspective on SAP key technologies is exceptionally rare in the market. Marcel not only brings deep technical knowledge but also knows the history and design principles of these frameworks from first-hand experience – a advantage that directly impacts the quality of architectural decisions.
