The ideal introduction for SAP consultants who have worked with SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA and want to extend their skills to the cloud for the future. The training "HANA Cloud for BW Consultants" builds the necessary foundations to provide data-intensive services and applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) based on the SAP HANA Cloud database.
The focus of the training is on the practical implementation of the code-to-data concept and the use of the SAP HANA Database Module. The necessary foundations and tools of the SAP Cloud Foundry environment of the SAP BTP are conveyed. With the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (NodeJS) and the associated Core Data Services, a powerful framework is also available for implementing a service and integrating a UI.
The knowledge conveyed avoids a "lock-in" to a specific platform (Cloud Foundry, Kyma or SAP XSA); instead, it is designed to be generally applicable as far as possible and reasonable. The basis for the practical implementation is the Cloud Foundry environment of the SAP BTP.
Together with the two trainings "SQLScript Fundamentals" and "Calculation Views in SAP HANA", this course offers an ideal preparation for the SAP certification "SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP HANA Cloud 1.0 (C_HCDEV_01)".
As a dedicated company training, the contents are also offered for the on-premise target platform SAP HANA 2.0 and the SAP HANA Extended Application Services (SAP HANA XSA). The SAP WebIDE for SAP HANA is used for development in this case. In combination with the training "Calculation Views in SAP HANA", the training scope is comparable to the SAP training "HA450 - SAP HANA 2.0 - Application Development for SAP HANA".
